I am curious about how many other people drive an old car daily rain or shine. I drive a 60 plymouth and my twin drives a 47 buick (or 66 charger in the rain but thats not hamb friendly)! Lets see yours!:)

mines more of a mild custom but my lil 1962 Falcon is my daily driver.
had it since may 18th and already put 10,000 miles on it and counting.

H30, I love your car, and i'm not necessarily a falcon fan. very clean and tasteful.

Not a Hot Rod, not a custom (yet), but I score on door #3 because it is an old car. My 1966 Newport is my daily driver because it's my ONLY driver.

Don't drive daily up here in the winter, but I do drive an old pickup that has no comp. or cat.

My '46 was my daily driver 'til recently. My Dad passed away leaving me his '06 Canyon so the '46 is now a play toy- no sense letting a nearly new truck sit in the shop and the antique sit out in the cold.

Drove a 63 Rambler Classic all summer until the motor blew up on me. It never ran real strong and I guess piling on over 7,000 miles on it didn't help. I drove a 63 Ford F-100 during the winter a couple of years ago. There were so many holes in that thing that it would be like a blizzard inside the cab with all the snow blowing in.

Bought the 60 about 2 months ago. It gets better the more I drive it. I drive it when it rains or below 30 degrees. The bike does'nt like that stuff.
It does require a tinker here and there.
Our rain storm that we had the couple of weeks provided much data. DISC, defrost, windshiled wipers, door seals are really needed. Nothing like swimming home.
It might be a geographical thing but I do notice that this ugly ass truck attracts ALOT of LADIES. [IMG]

I may start, when the Bel Air is driveable. At least until it gets unbearable in the summertime here.

So... how do you get it insured for a driver? Gary

  27. Yep, 61 General Motors Holden also doubles as a weekend cruiser for the missus while I'm out in the roadster :D. Candy red and white one.... The other one is a mates.

Count me as the third or fourth daily Falcon driver. I suppose technically mine's a mild custom, as it's had most of the trim removed from the front end. My intent is more in the vein of hot rodding, with an eye toward building the ultimate daily driver.

It was well below freezing when both of these pictures were taken. The gas station picture was last week, when I did 930 miles in her for work, the instrument panel was last night, while I was warming her up to drive home.

I will admit, though, that most days I carpool with my boss, so it's not exactly a "daily" driver, but it is my only driver.
