  1. Great show so far everyone. I finished this for a customer this week. His dad's drag car from the 50's. Illustration is a Christmas present for him...

Nice pieces everybody! Just another reason to shout out:'Thank god it's Friday!'
That scallopjob on the golden caddy is absolutely gorgeous...

No new work from me but I hope to finish my Batmobile flyer tonight, and if I do I'll post em here. For now you'll just have to settle for something old from my archive ;-)

Great stuff this week! I'm really digging on Spoggie's and plummad's watercolor.

Here's an illustration for a car being built by a HAMBer. My Dad's shop is doing a lot of the work on the car, and we're still working on placement of some of the logos, numerals, etc. Here's the original sketch as well as the "nearly" finished illustration.

Look for the real car at an LSR course near you in 2010!

    Hey dude, nice rendering!
    - just my 2 cents but i think the car would really pop if you tone down that backrground vinnette. The car is rendered really nicely, but the tone on tone drowns out the sketch. if the background box was lighter, or gray or something, i think you'll find it acentuates the car more.

very nice work form everryone! :D

Been playing with plastic this week, and remembering how much I love sanding.
Bonneville Streamliner, 1/32 scale, 6 1/2" long. Might cast some in Pewter.

My humble offering. As usual I am in AWE. The paintings, drawings, striping, sculpture, photos are incredible! You guys from Northern Europe WOW! Must be the long winters, gives you time to hone your skills;). My 11 year old son and I make sure to sit down and look at this every week.
Have a nice weekend everyone, John

    Hey Fellas,

I've been working on this for a couple weeks now, it's my first casting called the "Yucky Rat's Foot". Next step is to make the packaging and add the key chain. I will have very few for sale, about five, and a couple to trade if anyone is interested. Total edition of fifteen.

PM me if your interested, $15 smackers!

    Great show guys!
I've been crazy busy, so I haven't been able to post anything in a while. Here's a concept sketch that I'll turn into a finished piece soon. (I hope!) I'm going to draw it pretty large for a pencil drawing, maybe 40" wide. I want it to give you the sensation of speed and being alone in a quiet, vast and desolate space.

    Sorry to hear man:(

    Love the eyeballs!

Johnny99, phenomenal work on the dragster!

I've been busy as all hell this week, but really not much I can show....either O/T or Christmas gifts!

This is another take on an old Harley panhead. It's this week's charity auction.

    Awesome show this morning!

I haven't been on here in quite a while, and I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. Here are a couple older pieces.

This was a comissioned piece, 2x4' acrylic on canvas.

2x3" each graphite and watercolor on paper.

  30. As always, another GREAT friday art show! I recently finished up the T-shirt design for my local clubs car show next June.
I shot the reference photos at this last summers Goodguys show here in Des Moines.
    - It just doesn't feel right being done this far ahead, usually I'm scrambling like mad to get it done so we still have time to get it printed before the show :D
