So I made this crazy little road trip in the 64 corvair van last July that started in Houston went to Heavy Rebel Weekender in N.C, then to D.C to shoot for some bike magazines and finally to Columbus before heading to Georgia.

When I had gotten to GoodGuys Columbus I had driven 2,629 miles including some crazy hills across West VA and Pennsylvania. On the trip I counted 489 thumbs ups and countless stories of lost virginities in a van just like mine.

I am finally making this post because I just have to say GoodGuys have there heads on straight when it comes to hosting a car show. I dont care what you are into there is something for everyone, and they are the most gracious hosts with tons of events for every age of automotive enthusiast.
I thought of this the other day people say I wont go to so and so's show because even though they allow my kind of car they also allow this other style of car so I am not going to go because those cars will ruin the show.

I call B.S if you are a true automotive enthusiast you will attend all shows and at least take a look at the total package of the cars you are talking shite about because even if you dont agree with them hell you might find one little piece of something that makes you go"that was a great f'ing idea and you would miss it if you said screw that car/show its not my scene.
We should all go back to enjoying cars and customs and nor arguing if someone has the right size cuff on there Jeans.

I had to hold off posting pics because Kirk used a I think one of my pictures for the Gazette and didnt want to get yelled at. So enough talking here are a bunch of pics showing my perspective of the show.

Thanks again GoodGuys staff for all the hard work and having the coolest show series bar none

    My first assignment shoot autocross

that's what i was thinking too and i was a little put off by the first few pics, but a lot of the rest made up for it. also, i'll look at just about anything that's an old car..... i just like some more than others.

I was also only there for the first show - less than a week after having back surgery, so I wasn't getting around too well. I agree it looks like it's worth another trip.
