Here's what my '51 looked like the day I bought it and 2 hours later and a little elbow grease she turned out looking great ... and of course like I've said for years "the right wheels make the car"

 

my favorite look!!! if they are painted black they have that "sinister" look, the traditional look they always used in old cartoon and in comics. if you see one roll up like that,you never know who's going to get out.

 

Ya ... have to agree with you, they look pretty sleek in black ... hence my nickname for her "Black Cat"

 

Here's my 49 back in 2000 during my senior year in high school. She is currently in about 1000 pieces waiting her turn to be brought back to life.
