drove by this morning and there were at least twenty fire trucks on standby, looked like they had the fire out or under control but the main roof was severely damaged and the storefront was burned out. looked like the machine shop may have survived but the storefront and upstairs looked very bad.

Hagen's has been an invaluable source for obsolete irreplaceable antique parts for generations.

I have been going there for more than 35 years myself...

Sad to read that. Parts and equipment can be replaced but if uninsured the cost might not allow the business to cntinue.

  3. very sad news today, I hope they will be able to reopen in the future. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone there.

This store is an invaluable source of parts in our area. Flathead parts, early ford stuff, an old school machine shop.I went in for some misc. parts for a '57 392 hemi two weeks ago,and they pulled them off the shelf. They had original neon signs hanging from the ceiling, new old stock parts, and just a lot of cool stuff on display in their showcases. a huge loss.

Remember their tv commercial from the '80s?

Hagen's, Hagen's, Hagen's, Hagen's how many times have you heard the name, 4!!

That sucks. I loved going to that place. Hopefully, unlike Vintage Auto Parts in Woodenville, they won't go away.

Does anyone know if there is a link to the newscast?

  8. real bad news! looks like barker's is the only game in town now. what a insurance nightmare. wonder what caused the fire.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Hagens has been a big part of the old car hobby in the Northwest for a long time. Hopefully they can rebuild.

    Damn.
I've dealt with them for decades.
We did a lot of back and forth when I was in Woodinville.
    Hope they can rebuild.

What a loss! They are a fixture and this will be felt by the entire automotive community. My condolences go out to the owner and employees during this trying time.

I spoke with Darrel's sister and daughter this morning. It is a hard thing to take. They have been very instrumental in our success at Amocat. We will do what ever it takes to help them. A huge loss for us.

I got to walk into the back room a couple of times, and all i can say is wow. They had more rare and irreplaceable parts than iv ever seen in my life.

    A sad day for everyone.
