I have had to for over 10 years and I still am unable to identify what car it is for. It is metal and I think glass? Any help I would be thankful. Rob
It has two mounting studs and no numbers, Does have 2 arrows pointing in what looks to be the top of the emblem. Its a tough one.
How big is it? Could it be a hubcap center or is it off a B pillar. You're the emblem guy, you're 'sposed to know these things!!
Looks like a 1950's coldspot refrigerator badge. I think I've seen that before. I've been known to be wrong though...
That's the ancient symbol of the eight sided horn brigade. They were famous for going into battle with only their eight sided horns, sadly their history is short and bloody. I hear they made really good omelets.
Could it be one of those "club emblems" that you put on the grille of your car? Like what the Masons do?
the "emblemguy" with a what is it emblem thread. ha thats great. hopefully "drunkingcollegesluts" has some pictures that need identified.
I think this may be a fire dept thing....... A luietenant wears a bugle, a captain wears two, Chiefs wear crossed bugles 2 or mor depending on rank. This could be a very high ranking chief or the commishener or such. It might of been the emblem that gets fitted to a dress cap. Otherwise......Who knows??? In the early days, of North American fire departments, orders were given to the troops, by officers, through the use of a large brass device that resembles a megaphone. These were very ornate brass horns. They were commonly called bugles or speaking trumpets. The person with the bugle hanging from his neck or shoulder was easily identified as the person in charge. Officers became identified with these objects so a small pin in the shape of a bugle became a type of rank insignia for officers. The more bugles on his collar the higher the rank. An expression still used today.
Maybe off a 60's era jukebox. Or with others like it, could've been part of the decor at Harvey's Broiler
Alright, does this guy really need to know? Or is this some kinda test? "Just kiddin' guys, I made it up. Just wanted to seeif I could stump you!" Well, I aint bite'n.
