Those lights were frenched in there along time ago, Have to respect the work of the guys that did the work over 40 years ago. Caddy parking lights in front, caddy tail lights in the rear.

Cars owned: 50 Merc 4 door (stock looks with heart and soul of a Mustang; 351 V8 5,8L), 50 Merc 2 door mild chop custom, 55 Desoto grill with Triton V8 5,4 engine and trans) and a 39 Merc 2 door proyect car (will make it a hard top convertible 'cause the stock roof is too ugly). To complete the family I have a 48 Ford coupe, satin black, daily driver with 302 V8.
Do I quallify to join???

Seems a weird thing to do.

 

It's a security issue. Since the internet is so world wide,you can find ANYBODY with very little information...

If a person with bad intentions knows your plate number they can find out where you live and steal your car.

 

The bare metal merc is great i would ditch the orange antenna ball

 

I still think it's kind of weird to block plate numbers.
You can see them on the street with numbers shown and still steal the car.
What difference does a pic on the net make?
Just trying to get my head around this.

That's a really good looking merc ( from that angle, 59 caddy tailites are ridiculous ! ), but in bare metal she just look... stupid ! Just like a fuckin naked chicken !

 

I agree with Zed.The car looks great,but lose the (6) 59 Cad lites! I think it would look better painted.
