Don't have a before pic. He takes them down to the bare frame and recasts them.
I don't know how he does the cap, but I had to have one.

I remembered that I saw a previous post on accessory horn buttons being repopped by Dennis Carpenter so I looked it up in his catalog. $100 for either style. I haven't seen the black button on the right before...anybody know why there's two styles?

I think they made a white wheel and a black wheel for convertibles.

Just in case anyone has a bucket of cash laying around...Dennis has a restored wheel for sale for $2,500. The wheel comes with a matching gear shift knob and turn signal knob. From what I have seen these go for on ebay and elswhere, this is a killer deal.

I think the "black" emblem is for Lincolns.

    Hey 19 Fordy,
I believe it's Dennis at Quality Restorations, who has the wheel for sale.

    Bob,
Now I have to get the stock steering column put in, so I can run it.

  29. Very nice. I have a plan to let that company restore my Lincoln steering wheel and make it translucent... I dont think the black one is for Lincoln, that is a Mercury-head, the Lincoln center-part did have a Lincoln-crest.
