Sweet ride, love the black with red interior...

Steelies and dog dishes would look pretty sweet, the thing I love about wheels is how quick you can change the look of your ride..

oops forgot to post an intro....

Malcolm, do you know what the wheel and tire sizes are? I really like that look. Thanks again for the info and I am sure we will be talking more.

I had a bone-stock low-mile '64 500 hardtop 20 years ago, cream yellow with black vinyl top and bench interior, 352/auto and same stock full wheelcovers. That car was a wonderful cruiser--smooth and quiet. I wish I still had it.

Here's a pic I swiped from one of Dog427425's picture posts. A '64 done the way I like:

We had a Galaxie station wagon in 68/69. It had 390, 4speed, and bucket seats. Ive often wondered what happened to it. They are great cars.

You lucky dog! In my opinion, the prettiest Ford of the sixties in the best color combo! I'd freshen it where necessary and cruise! I'd probably be tempted to add power steering and brakes (that a lot of car to haul around with out them) but aside from that, I'd keep it factory stock. Like they say, it's only original once.

    Here's our 63 1/2 . The wheels are 15X8 with 275's out back and 265's up front.

They are great road cars. Nice score.
