might try to make this...tell me about trophy bracket, any rules besides meeting nhra tech?

  3. Jim,

Nope , just standard procedures. Everybody gets at least 3 time trials.
You can even buy back in after the first round.

    Hope to see you

This is a very fun and laid back day. If you have never made a pass in your hot rod you have to go. After an event like this you will wonder why you spent last weekend at a lawn chair car show.

    Who's in....?

this pic is from last year.

  14. Big Announcement

We've just made a deal with the one and only VOODOO SWING to play during our intermission @ around 12 noon.

These Kats and Kittens really rock the house (or maybe the timing tower?), so let's make 'em welcome.

As always , we do this for our customers , racers, and friends to show our appreciation for your support.

Take a look and a listen here:

  22. More bobbers,...more bobbers,....more bobbers!

  23. Question for Spike about the NHRA tech inspection: My 55 has a relocated battery, how strict are they going to be on the trunk battery/emergency shut off requirement?

  24. I will get a definitive answer in the morning and post it here..
    Thanks for your interest.

catch us in the lanes or in the pits, I will drag you around and introduce you to everyone I know.

  26. Answer to tech question:

If you have a true street driven car with the battery in the trunk and no remote disconnect switch, you will need to leave a key in the trunk lock.
That way , the emergency crew can gain access and cut the cable , if need be.
Any other tech,...call me and I'll answer here, or get right back to you.

You could always put a big red H on your forehead! :p

I'm planning on spectating Nothing ready to run, and I'm going to be looking at buying something down there in the morning, so I'll be truck and trailer (maybe empty, maybe full). Hope to see plenty of fellow HAMBers there!

Damn, I think Mama has something for me to do! If not, my boy and I will be there.

Looks like Mama has our son playing in a piano recital. Before any of you start laughing, my boy has a '56 Dodge CRL we are building together and is into all hot rods and customs. His mother is a piano teacher, and so by default, he has to learn. Actually, I think it will be good for him when he is older.
