Thats way cool! Question about louvers, is there a cut-off year/era of cars they're not fashionable on? Seems like you don't see them as much on the old stuff. Just curious...

Well, I tried but I am not a good enough welder to take the whole skin off! LOL

I was told that if I keep movin' the water won't come in........But I saw some shmuck that had used tupperware for air breathers before.......I may have to steel that idea! LOL:p

I like 179 of em... I think that the fifth one in the third row from the driver side is a little
off, can you re-do that one? Ha, ha, ha,... Very kool!! I love louvers! Kan't wait to
    see it in person.

    Happy Trails,

See....that is why I cannot have a louver press.....All of my vehicles would be nothing but louvers. Your hood looks bad ass, I commend your discipline....you found a stopping point with enough metal to still hold it all together, hahaha.

WoW!! Impressive! I got another 58 wagon roof that is in good shape!!!! Lol! I think the reach would be a bit too far tho!

thank you, I did have to put a couple rubber bumpers under the skin to the cross braces tho. It was flopping in the breeze pretty bad!

thank you! After doing this at Pikes house, I am now looking for a press! Lol! I can see them on the Escalade hood already! Lol!

what do you consider "old stuff"? I think there's quite a few T's A's, Dueces and other asorted old rides on here with more than quite a few louvers.... I'd louver a Saturn if they weren't plastic...

I toyed with the idea of havin' a bunch of louvers punched in the hood of my '94 (same style, unless your's is a 1 ton), but I ditched the truck... It would look pretty cool though, I've got a few older Truckin' mags that I got the idea from...
