Young man, one day you'll wake up and realize how clueless you have been, and your 'car' will have continued its slow descent into the ground where it belongs, but hopefully the nailhead will be saved and put into a righteous place deserving of its mighty stature.

well, i have a home made set that works great! it cost me about 30$ total to make. its stealth, bcse when you look, all you see is a small tool box in the trunk. the kit is a GM hei distributor driven by a heater blower motor. simple, easy, works great! i love it. gives about 2.5 ft of blue flame and when you choke the engine, it gives about 4 ft of billowing yellow flame.

I think flame throwers are cool! Especially in that scene in the movie Grease when the bad gang drives off after insulting the good gang.

Sorry, had a ghey outburst for a second there. Anyways, along with the NOS solenoid and the seprate fuel line etc. You can also add a bung to screw in a NOS fogger nozzle as well. It will get the fuel to a finer mist better propelled by the exhaust. A medium between the fuel/propane theory, if you will.

It was also something else to consider when doing this, regarding the thought of a child getting loose or some unsuspecting jackass with a lawyer on speed dial.

After this past year and the experiences I've endured, thanks to an ex wife and her attorney, I have a whole new outlook regarding looking at everything from a sue happy perspective........Anyone looking for a roomate with ALOT of cars, parts, and tools??

  12. OK, I was going to keep my mouth shut but here goes. We each have our own opinion of what cool is. For me it's either race inspired or slick custom. The clown car / rat rod thing doesn't work for me. Neither do flame throwers, but if that's what float's your boat, go for it.

Getting into a war of words with Nads is like bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Cool or not, it's fun. Been doing it for over 20 years and have made some really good long lasting friendships with the fellows that do it. As for traditional, I remember guys lighting flames with their old Mercs and Shoebox Fords in the early 50's.

Flame throwing. Is that anything like "midget tossing"?

I would install them purely to scare the ever-loving-sh** out of the douches that ride my tail up here in North Jersey.
