Here's the painting. It actually started out green, but wound up purple, sorry.

Thanks for your post Juan. I love that about the HAMB. It's like a fingerprint database for traditional car guys.
Any more history/older pics on this car would be appreciated also. I am sure that James appreciates all of you guys input.

You got right, i bought the car from Val... he lived right out of Santa Cruz... one of the guys from Austin Speed shop said he did some work to the car when he was @ Salinas Boys... Its cool to hear the history on these old cars. How cool would it be if they could talk... the stories they would tell... No hybrid or Prius will ever have that kind of history!!!!!

  6. that is a bloody nice looking ride right there!
never seen that done before with flake, is it just a green and blue?

where can I find some hubcaps like that btw?

That would be Todd Gravelle. Super nice dude and an extremely talented guy. Everything he does is done right, down to the details, and done with patience. He's a first class guy

    Hey James,

Who painted it? Same guy who did your Caddy? Reason I ask is that I really want to hire the guy who did your Caddy. Did he do this one too? I may have to "up the offer" if he did both of them.

FWIW, I'm the guy that was helping Matt thrash on his car the night before LSR '09. You were at Matt's working on your Cad.

I stared at your car at LSR for a long, long time. Fresh outta the paint booth at that point. One of my favorites.

That shoebox of yours is a fire breather.
all the ones I took of your car and many others got scrapped. The sun was brutal that day.
