I thought that hearse wouldn't be as loud with those pipe organ headers, but damn was I ever wrong. It rang my bell in the staging lanes!
no kidding, you could really hear it scream all the way down the track and would definately get ya to the funeral home FAST
It was super cool! Piece of advice though if you haven't been...get there early cause the good parking goes quick. I got there at 10:20 am and the place was packed. I was trying to find a place to park and I had the whole place coming down on my head lol. Apparently I was blocking traffic to time trials. Talk about feeling like an idiot. I would have made my truck burrow under ground if I could, but there was no where to go. Even the PA guy was busting my balls," if you are preventing cars from getting to the staging lanes then nobody can race!" Talk about embarrassing!
Some people say they didn't really cotton to the hearse, but I think it was the talk of the day. If you were there you couldn't miss it...and it was surreal to see it haulin' ass making all kinds of crazy noise. Didn't even seem possible how quick it was.
