Couldn't have asked for better weather for this weekend. Not a cloud in the sky all day, high in the 70's, perfect. Met up with Dan Hay and Cirelli at the Czech stop in West at 9:00, then headed down to Little River.

O/T, but there was a train of latemodel Chargers that appeared to be heading to some get together in Waco, but this was at the tail end of the pack. Seemed weird to see this kinda thing on the road instead of on freshly vacuumed carpet at an indoor show...

I love this racetrack. See what I mean about the weather?

  14. It was a perfect day. Thanks for the pics. That 35 chevy gasser was neat... and the black full fendered 32 was amazing.. Good to see Lee Pratt and his Gold 40 too.

    Great action shots!

  15. I'll add the only cool pic I got all day... Robert (A31MoFo) doing a burnout..

Day of the Drags, Texas waxes Oklahoma in the red river shoot out, what a great time to be from "T", is for Texas!! Thanx for the cool coverage. The 40's Chevy funeral car is so radical, and so is that sweet pearly Fat Luckys stitching in the black roadster. So much more to rave about, rock n' roll. ~Sololobo~

Thanks for the usual fabulous job, Fidgeter. Glad to see the dome freaks are in to Halloween!
I liked that flattie car that was your favorite but that black Chevy survivor-Hawkins and Bunch-it said on the door- blew me away- I loved that thing!
...and I never get tired of looking at Reggies' 5 window-thanks for including it!

Good seeing you and Grits...great coverage as always...the black mid thirties gasser was a barn find and was just like that except motor, trnny and rear change... it had a dana 44 rear in it whe it was found and had been imploded, but everything else he left...cool history and really dug that he left it as much as is as he did.

Now if i could just get my voice back...what a great weekend

It's hard to miss this after being there from the start. DOTD was my shakedown run for the Model A..... several years ago.
