One of the issues with putting all of the EFI junk in the intake is obstructing the air flow and of course loose parts going thru the motor. You need some large fuel rails to support HP but the balancing act comes in with the runner obstruction. The fuel rails are made from moly tubing TIG welded together. The wiring may get revised at a later date to secure it a little differently. The distributor may also get a pair of triggers(cam and crank) to allow for sequential fuel infection. That way you can have individual cylinder control and also better driveability and fuel control especially at idle.

Since you have a tube (fuel rail) in there why not use a tube in a tube and run the wiring between the inner fuel tube and the outer shell. That would clean up the area and help (some) air flow. Just a thought...... and that's not yellow, that's YELLOW!!!! and a good lookin' car.

We actually have talked about that already and that may be the route to take. By running the wires thru the tube, you would really have to be careful on how the wire exits the tube though. Even putting an oval hole in the tube may aggrivate the wire enough to cut thru the insulation and heat shrink. I dunno though. It's hard to say how much the wires will actually vibrate and move around in there.

I stand corrected, I figured the traditional police would flame you. Damn that thing looks nice. Cool idea on the engine setup too.

Did they shoot the entire body all at once? That's not easy to do... It sure turned out good.

  19. A990's are just awesome, and that thing is super clean and trick. I know it is wrong to love a machine but . . . damn.

It's starting to take shape now. The pump is installed in the stainless tank, the spings are mounted, and the rear axle is assembled along with the brakes. Now it's time to restore the door latches and window regulators.
