I have several.....I love the show at Latimore (Jalopy Showdown), I also love the Jalopy Drags up at Beaver Springs. The funny car reunion at Old Bridge Raceway park is awesome. AACA Swapmeet in Hershey is awesome. Carlisle is always awesome.......I love events geared towards grease, gasoline, and possibly explosions, and the people who love that. I hope to hit the "Geezers at the Grove" next year, but stuff happens. I also hope to hit the US 30 reunion up at Beaver for once. I love the York Fairgrounds portion, but I'd really rather see them run.

LARS, but you need to go the weekend before it and take in the Antique Nats, El Mirage, Road Kings, Early Times - pick one. Then spend the week hitting the shops, museums, cruise nights, LimeWorks open house, SoCal, etc. etc. etc. Overdose on Hot Rods.

Tridents shows in the Long Beach Arena in the 60's.
They were just plain "magic" for a teenager.

Pass tense Paso was coolest of all time. We all miss the Paso show although the move to Santa Maria has workout fine.

Favorite shows at this point in time. :D

    2. Cruisin' Nationals - Santa Maria, Ca

    3. Hoods / Headhunters show - Arroyo Grande, Ca

    Was: Paso
    Is: Austin's Lone Star Round-up.

I explain, we have alot of cool shows here in Socal, but the Round-up isnt just a "show" it's an experience, it's the people, it's the one show "not" to miss.

Paso was the best...been going there off and on since 1987...haven't been back since they moved it to Santa Maria, but there's no way they could re-create the same atmosphere it used to have...too bad. Nothing comes close since. The old GNRS in Oakland at the Cow Palace was fun just for the history and tradition of the show and the venue.

We enjoyed the 2008 Detroit Autorama, 1300 miles away...even with the snowstorm we had to drive through...made for some "comical" stories afterwards...
