I know the terms getting old but look at this barn find

Neat find, seems someone long ago was making a hot rod out of it. He changed wheels and trunk handle and modified or switched engines.

 

Well ggg its really something we don,t get to see much anymore, and it seems the crowd doesnt want to chop an channel it. Nowadays to get to see one in the flesh, is rare, you can get the exact parts together, but you can't catch the ' patina' of an original. It will be a real attention getter on its own.

 

Please don't mess it up.

well its my dads car so im not sure what he's gonna do. I think he said some thing about selling it and buying a 33 or 34. but i want to Hot Rod it and chop it and drop a big block in it . ill try to get some pics or the inside up when i get back to his shop.

 

That TRUE barn find is juts fun to GAZE at! THANKS for the great photos, man. I agree with Scooter, something THAT pristine deserves to stay original. (Reminds me of the '23 Stude "Big 6" I saw in a farmer's barn in 1972. And all I could do was drool, because I was in SCHOOL & didn't have two nickels to rub together!)

I like that! Looks like one that used to be in Long Beach that had a V-8 60 in it with '40 running gear & Kelsey Hayes wire wheels on it. The guy that owned it used to drive it to work every day. The last time I saw it was about 15 years ago. Don't mess it up by chopping it.

Yeah, my first reaction when I saw it was that thing looks to be in such good shape and appears to be so complete a restoration might make more sense because it seems to be such a good starting point for that, but I may well be in the minority here on that point.
