Great job bro, I will be chopping my DeSoto more door in a few more weeks, I'm still taping and measuring. I have balls of masking tape every where. I'm in no hurry cause you only have once to fuck it up then there's no coming back, hopefully mine will look as good as yours.:D

From up north, that is a great job you did. I love the flow on the sail panels. Looks far better than just leaning the rear glass forward. And the new panels are far better than having a pile of relief cuts all around the back glass. Well done.

Thanx a lot man!! Omar seems stoked so far.... Especially that i'm not breaking his bank!!

Thanx man!! It just seems easier to me to make new ones than trying to figure out all the relief cuts, it can get confusing IMO!!

Thanx Muncie!! Here's some better shots i took today of the profile. You know it's always nice to get compliments but one of the main reasons i post this stuff with lots of pics is to help others in their chops if i can. I sure have learned A LOT from looking at pics on the HAMB!!

Dude.. you nailed the roofline.... seriously that is the most essential part of a chop, screw that up and it becomes the focal point! You did an excellent job... I find myself considered trailering my shoebox out to california! and I wasn't planning on chopping it at all!!:D

  28. Hey Ian . . . great work and attention to shape, profiles, gaps, details, etc.. I tell you, if you were in Columbus, I'd be more than happy to have you do the chop on my 34 coupe -- you have an eye for it, you obviously care about the details, etc.. Keep up the great work - you've done very well!

Hey Ian, have you taken Gene Winfields class? I learned a ton. It's really amazing some of the things he teaches. If you are anything like me, you are eaten alive with this Kustom stuff. I'd rather die then do anything else.
