I guess i can put one up now...

The newest ride, coming home this weekend. Not quite round and some kind of funky hand grips on both sides. '62 Newport.

That's really nice, almost as cool as that Olds wheel.

  11. I will go for a transparent Lincoln steering wheel in my -51 baby-Lincon. Still need to have a steering wheel custom made, it will be in a transparent green tint to go with the planned colur of the car. Though mine is a -51 with the original gold inlays in the spokes and the original center button, will keep it that way.

Heres what I made for my 27 T Lakes modifed. Started with some scrap 1/4" alloy and then made the wood from a local native hardwood. The finish on the alloy is bead blasted then clear coated.
Cost me nearly nothin exceptin for th quick release hub!

I love these, I wish I could afford to put one in my Art Deco '42 Chevy.

Is there much flex in this. My head says is strong, but transparency tricks the head to thinking nope. I do like it. That is for sure.

This one was the original wheel in the '41 chevy truck my great-grandfather bought new. My dad had it on his garage wall for years, and I decided to use it in my A.
