Here is the weather for Saturday from weather.com 5 min. ago:
Saturday: Mostly Cloudy. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the upper 50s.
Looks like just a chance of showers so dont start to panic! We got through last year, we'll do the same this year. I talked with Beaver Bob this morning and the plan is to show up Saturday and get the program in however we can...we have all day. IF it doesn't work Saturday, we'll run Sunday. Dont puss out and not show Saturday...we're gonna race damn it!!!

The Slick Devils camp will be there for year three. I can't wait; even the little woman is stoked. but I sold the Sprinter so we'll be "roughing" it.

I have a hair appointment that weekend, and the threat of rain on freshly cut hair scares the piss clams off me. I'll wait for the book or watch it on TV. Maybe I'll watch from afar or hide on the grassy hill and shoot rubber bands at Don Moyer..

Currently National Weather is calling for a 50% chance of rain on Saturday. Please note that only long periods of steady rain will cause a race cancellation. Most events can be completed during scattered shower conditions. Don't miss an event because of a forecast. Nobody tries harder to get an event in than the Beaver. If Saturday is a total washout we'll run the event on Sunday and cancel Testing.

Hey everyone!!! Flashlight Bike Drags (tm) are still on this year!! Hot Rod Jen and myself will be running it this year. It will begin after dark, after the racing is over. Vintage bicycles only! Bring out your Rollfasts, Elgins and Schwinns! Also, the world's largest rubber band fight will be held without warning sometime after the bike drags. Bring your own rubber bands.
