Well, I don't think that you could have a cooler thing happen to you and you '53. I mean, you learned from Gene and and he helped you on your very own vehicle? That's fucking awesome man!!!! Chop looks great and I can't wait to see how the rest of the car turns out. Get to it!!

    Thanks Eric.

Anybody have any pictures of the inside of their chopped Chevy before the headliner? I'm curious on how to finish the inside.

    Great post! Congrats!
Having an icon like that have his hand in it had to be something special..very cool!
The way you guy's did that is very much like how i did mine, which makes me feel good 'cause now i don't feel i screwed up too bad:D:D

Again, VERY nice! And i'm looking forward to seeing what you will be doing to the front end.

Any idea how you are going to do the front windshield?

Thanks. Coming from you, that means a lot. Your car rules.

I'm not really sure about the windshield. Probably them same way we cut the front on the chopped 65 Riviera we did last year. Lots of gray duct tape and a sandblaster. It seemed to work really well.

Thats looks awesome, I'd like to take a workshop with Gene. Anybody know of a site for his shop? You google him and nothing comes up for his own digs, just stories about him. I'd like to see about going out there for a day or two.

We don't work on anything that new. We do classic and antique auto restoration as well as build hot rods and customs.

No progress yet. Been extremely busy getting the house work caught up after 3 months of ignoring it. Mama isn't happy with me!

Thanks dude. I am so stoked that the perportions came out like they did.
