I have to say I have read all 12 pages of this thread and have loved all the photo's (well except the scary one:eek:). Being a woman myself I have to say I love all the old cheesecake photo's and wish they were still around. I agree that the women should elegent, classy and curvy, wish more people would do photo's like that today;)

She seems to have a lot of ugly bruising on her arms and legs though.

Now you know why the baby-boom happened after all those soldiers, sailors and airmen came home from WWII.

I would title this one: "First night home from the war."

  10. So we were all worried that this thread would be dropped. It's made it this far, and I believe that's because no one has stepped over the line yet.
I STILL think a HAMB calender would be cool. I need something to plaster my garage walls aside from reproduction race track ads.
I covered the inside of my garage door with speed equipment stickers, but it's just not the same.....

I work with an historian and he says he has seen a letter from a GI to his wife and it says "Take a good long look at the floor because all you're gonna see is the ceiling for the first week I'm home!"

His uncle always says that the second thing he did when he got home was take off his boots.

the one with the woman working the lathe is very cool, my grandmother was a "riveting Rosie" during WW2, she wasn't even five foot, but she ran a punch press making shells. Very tough Finnish Lady, she died last year at the age of 97
Lets just hope if someone steps over the line that it gets cleaned up,not the thread deleted. this is too good of a thread to delete. traditional pinups go just fine with traditional cars.

OutThere, SO right! Pretty girls and cars, like icing on a cake. SURE, every red-blooded guy wanted to build a head-turning car since before he was old enough to drive. BUT, he ALSO wanted his car to be a chick magnet! Am I wrong here?

TaMan, there's an urbanmyth that WINNING A LOTTERY will ruin you.

BUT, I would like to prove them WRONG! I say, chicks, cars, MONEY would be nice during this recession, buddy, how 'bout you?
