Indeed. Whether its run on gas or fuel, that reaps of KOOL. I could see one just driving around town with it resting atop a trailer, garnaring stares, ohs and ahs

It's a Kellison fiberglass bodyshell - It's hard to tell what model, when the front and rear end isn't visible, but it could very well be a Kellison J5

Here is one of a good ground pounder out at Elk Hart this last Spring. You could feel him coming up the hill way before you saw him.

This car still exists and runs in our neighborhood. The Bartholme's still own it and campaign it at the nostalgia events. When I was a kid, he had a bitchin' 40 coupe with unbelievable "dutch" work on the deck lid!!! If we're lucky Andy/OL 55 may have a picture. I think the car was called Sassy Cindy!!!!!

Where did you find all that east coast stuff?????? I know several of those cars and it was a real grin seeing them again!!! The last I saw them was on trailers and in shops around the neighborhood.....I never got to the track at that time...oh how I wanted to!!! Thanks for the memories!!!!

  25. Thanks for posting these pics. sure enough, it is a late Chrysler between the frame rails. My bad. I guess that is why I never heard of it.

Wow! that seems cheap, I've seen restored stockers going for that much, with no history..
