Indy 1969. Ok, how many Stockers can you identify? 0 points for Super Stockers 5 points for each correct Stock identification.

The B/S 427 '67 Fairlane win the middle of the front row is the Tom Schumacher-Rod Shop sponsored car--about a month before I bought it.

I read a few weeks ago a discussion about a corvette named Buckshot. It belongs to a friend of mine. He let me take some pictures of it today and we put a video on Youtube.
Here is the video. I hope it works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHuti_ZItgE

Great video and glad so see Buckshot once again. This car was always one of my favorites. Lombardo really knew how to wheel this car but much of the credit I also feel is due to Roger Sinistri. I haven't seen this car since the Nats at Indy in 68 but hopefully will see it again one day soon. Great memories of a great era-Jim

  21. Too cool! Buckshot looks great! Sinistri-who owns the car now? Are they bringing it to York? I told my dad about bringing the In-Bomber and he's really into it, would be neat to see how many Jr. Stockers we could get to go.

Hell yea! get the bus ready! paint it funky psycadelic colors and we'll blend right in with the times! altho i'll only be 4 in 1967 and 7 in 1970.unless i am going at the age i am now witch would be cool so i can study things a bit.

  26. Bob Bender-would love to get some details on your car. I run a fairly heavy Ford (3680lbs with driver and 1/3 tank) and am always looking for tricks to make these big cars move!

Good job on "Buckshot". Is the car tagged for street use? The reason I ask is that I own a F/S Olds from the same time frame and my car IS on the street with current tags and insurance. It doesn't see much street time (lettered and slicks attract you know who) but it is cool to drive once in a while. Hope to see it at York in 2010
