I have never spent so much time on this damn website.... I can't leave the house because I'm scared I might miss something about that car. Proud of you for going after what you love!! You deserve it.

My 3w (see avatar) must have been a twin to your's back in "the day". It's got scars on the A pillar to suggest that it was channeled a healthy 13" once upon a time. Somehow, I don't think it ever saw street action in that guise.

The fact that you got the car of your dreams is awesome. The '32 3w is the most beautiful car ever built (in my biased opinion). Looking forward to your build updates........

  11. This is incredible. Nice find. I can't wait to see this up close.... think you could throw it on a trailer and bring it to Day of The Drags so we can all drool over it? Just and idea.

Congratulations, you've just been bought, this car will own you! :D (but in a good way)

I'm SOOOO happy for you! All good things come to those who wait. When can I come down to play cars? Between this and the roadster I could be busy for months! What a year for you!

Sounds like there's going to be quite a few HAMB boys in skirts at B'ville in the future. :D

BTW, the photo of Bill at the Beaver Crossing sign is priceless!

Extra info on the primer cups...
i saw them used pretty slick once.
I always had the impression that they hand cranked the hand crank engines to a start like in the movies.
I saw a fella fire one up without crank starting it. He used the hand crank to carefully bring the engine up to some mystical degree of crank rotation only he was aware of, opened the primer cups, dribbled in a bit of fuel, closed them up...reached around and energized the coil and the ol girl fired right up on it's own

Be patient my friend, Kathy has just exceeded her Photobucket alotted bandwidth for the month and will have to upgrade or sit it out for the rest of the month. The price one must pay for having a popular thread.:D

Yep, follow Megan's advice, I bought a pair of red Chucks for less then $30 I think it was and got a year of Photobucket Pro for free.
