I'm going both days possibly. I'm missing a wedding to go to this show! It's the first one I have been in the country for in the past 4 years and I'm going dammit!!! :)

id advise everyone to try their hardest to attend both days. i know alan is going to post some info here the next few days about the goings on for thr weekend. i know sunday is the day trophys are given out after being picked saturday, so stick around for the awards. and like ive been saying, there is a lot going on friday and saturday night in downtown antioch as well, bands etc/.....my club is also going to try and get together an "un-official cruise" going as well. cant wait to see ya'll next weekend, and hope most of you can stick around the entire show!:D

there as some pretty cheap hotels real close to the show. but bakersfield is a drive and will cost you some dough enough.

  13. Are you old enough to remember the cruise in Antioch? We used to have some good times downtown on the weekends.

sorry I can't make it...2800 miles is just a tad over my do-able amount. Damn hard seats.

  17. I'll be there on Sat for sure....not sure about Sunday yet, still need to find a place to crash if I decide to stick around.

Choptop....how many cars are pre-registered? What time do you suggest getting to the gates for those of us who aren't?

we've got more pre-reg's than last year. In 2008 we had just over 1200 cars and just about filled the fairgrounds. If the trend holds up here is a 10% growth rate each year. I suspect the fairgrounds will be full this year. If thats true we will have to lay out some parking lines for 2011 to fit everyone in. Doing that the fairgrounds will hold about 1600 cars.

    thats the long answer :D

What time to get there? If you are there at 8am you'll be fine.
