I honestly do not believe that is even possible. maybe wrap it sideways or something but like that how would you hit a pole at that angle? The pole would snap far before the car could wrap itself all the way around

The car was apparently in the process of rolling when it impacted the pole. I work with a guy that went to school with the kid that died in the car. Supposedly the car was put on the roof as kind of a "safe driving" message.

Depending on the rate of speed at which the camaro was traveling this could be possible. If it was going down the road, lost control and flipped. As it flipped hit the pole, Snapping the pole or atleast bending it.

  11. hmmm..nobody's mentioned the little car at the transmission shop out hwy 31 toward Western KY University in Bowling Green KY--looks kinda like the Renault in the first post. Got neon all over it. Been there for years.

And when I ran Rt66 fifteen years ago, there was a HOUSE TRAILER up on a pole somewhere in Mo..... Anybody know if it's still there? That was funny.....

That sign was from my hometown....used to go there every weekend to watch modifieds run, and later to run at the drag races they held......

It still exists in Harry Fleming's Junk Yard about 2 miles from my house....well, at least half of it is there!...here's a pic of how it looks today along with my coo-pay! Enjoy!

When I was a kid in the '60s and '70s, we used to travel U.S. 33 in Fairfield County, north of Lancaster. On the west side of the highway, a car dealer had a '54 Lincoln WAY up on a steel post. Always loved it & thought (I guess) that it would ALWAYS be there! Never got a photo of it. Then, it was gone.

Title of the "art" is "Cruisin San Mateo 1" All the locals call it the chevy on a stick, located at San Mateo Blvd and Gibson Rd. in Alquequerque New Mexico.

Caused quite a stir when it was constructed years ago...now everyone loves it...I personally think it's ugly....always have...HOWEVER, the car was bought for $30 when 4 doors were worth nothing...least it's being used for art...

hell I remeber the day that put the car on top! I was there!!!
