Does anyone make a SuperCharger for a small block Mopar, 273-360?? Looking for something like the SBC 144 style. Or do i need to fab up an intake myself?
In the 1970's we would fab up a blower mount out of alumiun plate that bolted to a 4 barrell intake and would fit the blower base.Easy
Say Why-And. You might also contact BDS. Your small block isn't an unpopular or rare mill. There are plenty of bits for them. You might even find some rare old parts if you look hard enough.
nope you'll never find a Mopar LA blower intake http://blowerdriveservice.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1004&cPath=64
Dick Landy Industries used to make a kit for Small Block Mopars with the B&M style Blower - No longer in business since Dick died though. Should be some out there used though. I think it was an offy dual quad intake with the top machined off and a plate added for the blower. BDS sells a 6:71 manifold as well http://blowerdriveservice.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1005&cPath=64
Thanks folks, I think a daul quad intake with a thick aluminum plate might be the best way for now. I'm trying to keep this under the hood of my 33. Now I'll just have to find a decent used 142/144 set-up and a sbm daul quad intake and i should be good to go..
Don Hampton advertises being able to fit a blower on anything. Checkout his site: http://hamptonblowers.com/
Good site, i'll have to call him to see if he has the smaller units. He only advertises the bigger units.
