My buddy Marty added some striping and a bird to his Fender.
Looks better in person than in pictures by the lame photographer {me}.

 

Another piece from my friend Marty. It's a 3D relief sign made of wood. It was a self promotional piece he intended to keep for himself till a guy came along and had to have it so he swapped it for a Gretsch hollow body guitar.

I'm a 61 yr old white-bread that hasen't had much exposure to this type of art. I stopped extencive traviling after my brain blew up in Sept of 2001.
There were some Low Ridders comimg out but not a lot of the culture behind what and why they were doing what they were doin. This platfourm has exposed this ol boy to some different styles that are starting to grow on him - interested in any background you can point me at.
