Lets see some arrow staight black cars!

Come on people i have a hankering to see some of the numerous black beauties that grace the hot rod world!

 

Here's mine. A few years before a repaint & flame job.

 

Heres a couple of U.K. rides out on the showfield...the Chevy pickup is 'arrow straight' ...the Fairlane more err...natural!

The last black one I painted. I'd be happy if it were the last black paint I ever do. Yes it's a pain in the ass, and yes it shows EVERYTHING! Thank God some homeless guy wondered by and rubed it for me

 

now I feel really compelled to do bodywork.

I have alot to do.....

I think i'll paint my truck not black. What color hides s***y body work?

My old girl. She ain't perfect, but it's straight enough not to cringe when I look at her.

 

Though not exactly what you asked for it will be soon. Back in Jan I began the paint part and uncovered a Ton of old buried Sins. The car was Black prior but not nice enough to just re-shoot. If it isn't as nice as Kaydub's 32 after buffing we'll start over again. The color on the Top is Cadillac Gunsmoke with mini Flake over. The inside lighting don't show the true color. The Black lower half is still a work in progress but showing grate results. This is after WAY more work than I thought I was getting into. I'm going to be one Proud Dog. The few that have seen it are telling me it will be to nice for an Old Guy like.
