Event Coverage PHOTOS: Goodguys BLUE SUEDE CRUISE in Norwalk, OH...Show and DRAGS!!!!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by KIRK!, Sep 1, 2009.

  1. KIRK! ... as usual, very nice pics ... thanks for sharing!

Any video of the Pure Hell / Nanook match races? ...

Pure Hell vs. Nanook @ Norwalk.jpg

I read that Sunday's final pass was a wild one ... Nanook ran a 6.460 @ 198.79 mph... beating Pure Hell’s 6.475 @ 214.11 mph... it doesn't get much better than side-by-side AA Fuel Altered racing!

PS: I received the latest GG Gazette last night ... I almost spit soda through my nose when I read the "Hot Rod Historian" line in your Low Down column ... :D

I didn't shoot video. I did watch from the tower though. Very good racing all weekend long.

The title sounded good to me. :)

Great set of pictures. Thanks for posting them. Looks like I should put that on my list of things to do next year. PS: That doesn't even look like the Fonz.

Cool, thanks for this pic Fonz, one of my favs. I am digging the plastic newspaper box scoop. Never thought of that, but is some serious out of the box thinking there (no pun intended of course) and is giving me some good ideas.

Hmm..... let's see, my budget has been scaled way, way back, can't afford any parts (even though I apparently have a salvage yard of some type to work with) and can't even afford the newspaper delivery anymore. I got an idea.....watch this....

I wondered why the hell you left us wondering about the engine...then I calmed down, scrolled a bit further, and:

We had a good time, especially with the weather holding out on Saturday. My 5 year old got his first smell on Nitro and loved it. It's funny how different the response was between my son and my wife...

Two of my favorite cars of the summer. That blue is gorgeous! It usually travels as one of 3 '40 Ford coupes.
Thank goodness this isn't from Ohio!
    Thanks for the photos KIRK!

strike a poser you're not the only one. I can be standing there alone and as soon as I get the camera ready it's suddenly the most popular car around.

    Kirk -
Thanks for the photos - look for the car seen here to keep on showing up, hopefully soon under its own power - our own Lakes style to the Speed33.

SDJoe- Have a double-double on us.

Thanks again for the sneak peak, KIRK!. Did the silver 5 window end up with an award? I see you got a shot of the engine too. That car is near perfect.
