Hot August Nights Some GOOD-BADD

Went to Reno over the week end ,Some cool cars
had a blast cruising the coupe ,or should say my Wife did
Three Cruisies each night ,ran the Hemi with pipes open all weekend
no problem ,JUST BE COOL
will add some more ,if I dont get thrashed too BADD

Been to HAN at Reno - I thought it was a real kool event. Something for EVERYONE.

Traditional rods, Kustoms, Taildraggers, Lowriders and Bombs, Muscle, Street Machines, Pro Street, factory restos you name it, I saw it.

Even saw a little street action if ya know what I mean

Seen your coupe and thought it was one of the better rides there. HAN is just an oversized average cruise night, most of the rides are nothing spectacular with a few that are. Fonzi would have had a field day. I am uploading my pictures to my site right now, maybe 20% of what I shot would be considered HAMB material.. I found myself taking pictures of rides that made me say WTF.. like the PU converted to roadster you posted...

I spent all week at HAN. Had a great time. Lots of cruising. I will have my Ranchero in the show next year.

Yeah, the 20% rule sounds about right for HAMB friendly cars. Keep in mind that there were 6,000 registered cars and many more thousands of unregistered cars. So even 20% equates to probably a couple thousand cars.

This is one of your shots. It was one of my favorite cars at HAN (that I saw). He is running a Ford SOHC engine that he bought in a crate. He drives the car from Oregon to the Reno. From the outside this 1955 looks bone stock with even fake small exhaust. But when he pops the hood or starts it up....look out!

 

only things reno is good for is cabelas and getting gas on the way to bonneville

 

I prefer Scheels in Sparks over cabelas.

But it made me laugh... I mean really laugh, that someone is serious about this thing. It is the most confused vehicle I have ever seen.

I will say it looks like quality work went into it. But this is what happens when someone who doesn't get it sees a Plowboy creation and thinks they can do it...
