I'm looking for some pics of 55-57 T-bird gassers and altereds for a project I may become involved in if I can get the owner modivated enough for something like that. I've seen lots of Vettes, but don't recall ever seeing any T-birds. Thanks in advance.

COOL model! You need one of those resin teardrop hoods from eBay.

Here's the old Kenz-Leslie tuned '57 from Denver:

Always Loved the 55-57 Birds as Gassers..Thats the only way I would ever drive one..There was one locally at Fremont dragstrip and Sears point that ran a 427 with 2x4's Radiused fender wells..ran in the 11's

Hey guys, more of a lurker here than a poster:cool: but have followed this thread for a few years and had some really good ideas from the white gasser bird. Heres a few of our just finished Gasser Bird. I usually don't build em this shiny, but it was a nice change of pace.

You guys are gonna hate me, but I know there's a good story on Salty's Shaker, but I can't remember it! (hazzard of the job I guess... I come across a LOT of good cars, and better stories with them). I talked to the owner of it for about an hour and a half a couple years ago at the York Reunion show.

BBC powered, like Racemad said. That's the way it was run.
