I must have lost my mind, I have no room for it, and little time to do anything with it but the price was too good to pass on and the body is super solid check this out when I was cleaning it up I found new tabs and registration in the glove box! '52 Deluxe
Very tasty...those chevys make great mild customs.....and as you already know, there's a ton of aftermarket stuff available for 'em too. Gona leave it a 6 banger? Oh, BTW, we all have the same disease...I drug this 55 fairlane home last week....same deal, no money/time/space for it..it's going to the HAMB drags with for-sale signs.
your plan makes sense, that's a good looking car someone is bound to snap it up if I keep the Chevy it will have to get a complete drivetrain swap the seller said it ran fine when he parked it but I've had this setup before and even at best they aren't freeway freindly and the interior is shot it will need to be completely redone whatever I do it is bound to be a good investment you just don't see these cars this rust free around here
First thing I noticed was the lack of rust and I had to double check to see where you were posting from. Nice find.
Man, I love that car. The only things keeping from making you an offer is no room, no time and no money. I guess many of us have that same affliction. Sweet car man.
Looks great Paul, I had a 52 20 years ago, you would be surprised how hiway freindly they are when you put a powerglide rearend in em.
Hey awesome find!!! I am glad you got it... I had to think about it for a bit, I remember as a kid my dad had a $25 1952 Chevy, he'd hang on to me whenever he made a hard left turn 'cause the passenger door would fly open... it was a good "island" car.
I think that's where I will start, just get it running and see what's what let's just say about two days wages not a bad idea I do like the idea of keeping a six in it if I want to peel out I can jump in the hot rod
