What is a 35 Ford Truck Worth?

Ok, so I came across a 35 Ford Truck sitting in someones yard. It is completely stock...nothing is missing. I'ts just been sitting in the yard for 40 years and the weather is mainly the only thing that has affected it. What would be a reasonable offer for a truck like this?

 

Pickup of the big one ton or larger?

 

Somewhere between $50 and $75,000.00, please buy it and send me the Fenders and Bed and Cab.....

LOL, I'm working on getting it but it might take some time. The truck belongs to a friends Uncle and has just been sitting there for a very long time. It just might take some cash in his face to help convince him to let it go. Just don't know what is fair and I don't want to pay too much either.

I don't think I would be parting it out. The truck is complete. Looks like some old gangster just parked it under a tree and let it be out of site for a very very long time. I'll see if I can get some pics of it.

Pulling your leg about parting it out although i do need running boards. Buy it, build it or restore it the way you want to and then drive it. Another on saved from spending its life in someones yard.

 

It's worth a bag of money. How big is the bag and how full is it?

i had one i parted out before i sold the cab for 200 bucks, the bed for 200 bucks, the frame for 150, the rear fenders for 180, and the front fenders for 100,
thats 930 bucks and my stuff was rough so its worth atleast 930 bucks

 

The clunker bill sayes it's worth $4500

 

I'm asking so I can get a rough idea what a vehicle in this condition would normally sell for. This way I can get a general market price and then decide what I would be willing to pay for it. Certainly "worth" is a subjective matter and one man's trash may be another man's treasure. I know I'm a sucker for 66-67 Novas and would probably pay more then the market price because they are worth more to me. But, I learned the hard way years ago when I bought a piece of shit on ebay and in the end I chopped the car up and threw it away cause it was unrepairable. I probably paid more then what the market value of the car was cause it was WORTH MORE TO ME. So, in lieu of making another mistake I'm here posting my question to get an idea what anyone would expect to pay for this car. Make sense?

A runner in drivable condition top $ = `$9,000 (maybe)
Non-runner, weathered how badly, rusted bakes, flat tires etc., interior(?)...start deducting..

 

Like everyone said its tough to tell you what these trucks are going for without any pictures. If its a non running but complete you could pay anywhere from 500-4500. Show us some pictures so we can give you a better idea. Good luck!!!

 

You still haven't told us if it is a 1/2 ton pickup or a 1 1/2 ton truck

 

If it's as complete as you're saying, ball park figure would be around $2,500.00
Rear fenders are like gold, and harder to find in decent condition. Grilles go for around $300.00, cabs around $500.00, running boards are around $400 for the pair, etc, etc. you get the idea.

Of course, this is assuming it's a 1/2 ton pickup, large trucks have way different front sheet metal and are not nearly as desireable.

Don't know where you got this idea from, but don't you have to have owned the vehicle for at least two years to trade it in on the clunker bill?
