Great shots KIRK! I was happy to NOT see a pic of my car with the Fonz next to it!

Brilliant coverage Kirk - thanks! Great to see increasing numbers of quality non-street rods there over the last decade+. I used to park this Heinkel around the fairgrounds, drivinging it instead of a golf cart in essence, inadvertently pissing other car owners off:

Happen to know what wheels these are below?

You mean to tell me out of 6500 cars there, there was not even ONE fifties Cadillac worthy of a KIRK!!! photo...???:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I get tired of opening KIRK!!!'s photo thread and seeing countless black deuces, square bodied cars...I know there's other NICE stuff that attends GG's events.

    Nice shots as usual tho...

I designed them....Mike Curtis whittled them....Squeegs Kustoms gave 'em a secret sauce coating....Eric P. made them happen!

Perhaps you and your posse should attend an event KIRK! will be shooting at. ;)

Awesome images as usual. It always amazes me that I can spend 3 days there looking at rides and still see some I missed. My fav is the green 32 with the smoth flathead mill in it. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Thank you for your concern HRLC...KIRK!!! knows that I do...

BTW, did you happen to see the last GG's Gazette...I (and my Caddy and my bro's) were in there several times...and KIRK!!! didn't shoot the pix at ColoRODo...

Kustoms are just as trad as blak deuces ever were...I fail to see the attraction of a blak deuce...it's the "I wanna be just like him" crowd...

Actually the lastest 3-4 issues are sitting on my coffee table unopened. I'll have time in Oct to start looking thru those. Looking forward to seeing you Caddy in there then.

Thanx Hemi...IF, there was one there that elicited a "Fonzi", even I'd like to see it...you can learn a lot from doing things the wrong way...!!!

  15. Look more closely. It's a SBC with a valve cover job.

These were actually designed by Alan Johnson "Johnson's Hot Rod Shop" and machined there at the shop. The gauges are custom by Classic Instruments. Just a cool piece to see in person!

I was glad to not see a pic of my van in the fonz picks also lol

I really appreciate Kirk letting me come to Columbus and carry his camera gear around for him. I wish I would have had about five more days to walk around and take pics.

Kirk and his crew put together one of the best magazines out there if it was on the newstands it would sell a ton

I cant say enough about what a great experience the Good-Guys shows have been over the years it doesnt matter what you like there is something for everyone.

I hope to be able to hit a couple more this year

Damn, now this one is the shit! Love it!! That's it, I'm changing my whole build.

Oh, and Fonz, looks like you have really let yourself go. Get your ass back in shape and lose those pants and sandals man - does nothing for you. Thanks for the shots though.

The wheels are by far my favorite part of the car. So cool looking.

The "roller skate" was on a VW chassis. You sat up inside it to drive it and had to look out thru the laces-you can see the windshield and side windows. Different!!
