    Hi Doug.

Saw Dean at the Red Lion show today.

    Update on Dustin.

Brain swelling and pressure has gone down enough that they removed the probe from his head. He does have movement on both sides which is great. The doctors say he is not in a coma because he has movement with a purpose. He has a slight fever, which may be do to infection or pneumonia. Until he stabilizes the reconstructive surgery on his face will have to be put off until he can be on his back for an estimated eight-hour surgery. Until he completely comes out of his coma then they will know if he has sight in his left eye.

So it is like two steps forward two back one forward.

    That’s it for now.

Dustin is in ICU at Colorado Acute Rehab Center. Doing much better,he can hear and see you but doesnt respond to comands to well, but that was never one of his strong points anyway. He is going through physical and speech therapy every day he looks better. thanks again for all the donations to his upcoming auction at crown lanes sure to be a huge success. Randy, glad to hear that Dustin is continuing to improve, if we don't see ya at the Blue Light we'll definatly see ya at the auction. Tell Dustin hello and to hang in there! Thanks for the update too. Take care.

  27. Man Randy, what a nightmare to be going through. I would like to think that a fathers and mothers love for their son has got to have helped your boy come out of it and begin to come around.
