Just have to bolt the roll bar in and put the slicks on. Really looking forward to getting away for a few days.

I still need to do a whole new exhaust before I leave, new stereo, oil change and a once over on everything....and I leave in less then two weeks for the HAMB Drags via Speed Week and the GG Spokane, WA event.

It 'should' be there...making a long trip this weekend, going to Salina so we'll see how that highway test goes...

Wish I could be in Salina but family stuff will keep me home. Have fun and we'll see you in August.

 

Can't wait. The silent auction is coming along really well. There's a few more details to work out, but it looks like something VERY cool is going up on the block. Ryan said this about it..."I think it is incredible... Hell yes." You'll know soon enough.

 

The tank is full of 90 proof, she's all tuned up and gassed...

been waiting all year for this!

 

i ordered some new wheels (american salt flats).this all started back in feb.just got the wheels 2 weeks ago.i knew the rears would be too wide so i started building a 9'' .after getting wrong parts ,parts taking 3 times longer to get than it should .im about done .paint the rearend and bolt it in.....

 

my rotating assembly is at the machine shop today for balancing.....I should get the parts back by Friday PM so I can assemble it this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing the gang again.

 

Tell them there is a chapel there in Joplin. I was joking with my wife(GF at the time) that we should just get married while we were there 3yrs ago. She pulled in taking me serious. I got all dizzy and sweaty and backed out. Finally bit the bullet 2 yrs later though!!

 

Your little car gets me thinking too....Particularly with the wheelstand shot. I remember that little car was waaaay faster than it looked, but I can't remember just how fast she was. So.....how fast is she?

Maybe we can line em up this year? Remember, you have to drive her there or it doesn't count..

i'm planning on driving from joplin to springfield and back but that's about all i can take with the 4:11's...that's something i'm planning to do this winter is 9 inch it so i can drive and drag...it would make the trip i just don't want to turn a 4 hr trip into 2 days...lol. i do hate trailering it long distances though. i"d love to drive. so i guess it won't count...but who's counting. i do drive it here at home..
