Hot Rods 2nd Annual Rally In The Valley (western PA)

Just got a flyer for the 2nd Annual "Rally in the Valley" at the Bullskin Township fairgrounds. It seems like it might be a good show... they have 4 rockabilly type bands (Memphis Mike and the Tremblers, The Legendary Huckabucks, Highway 13, and Those Poor Devils), pin-up contest, homemade trophies, and some other stuff going on throughout the day. Did anyone go last year? Anyone planning on going this year?

The show is Saturday, July 25th at the Bullskin Fairgrounds. I believe the flyer says it starts at 1pm or 2 pm and goes to whenever. The show is being put on by a local hot rod club based out of Connellsville. I'll see if I can scan the flyer and get it posted...

If I can't scan the flyer, I'll be sure to post more specifics about the show...

ttt for anyone who missed it the first time around... show is less than 2 weeks away. i was hopin my t was going to be ready, but it's not looking to promising at this point. anyone else out there going? how about a HAMB meet and greet???

We were there last year had a good time, going again this year.

 

Hope to meet some fellow HAMBers that day... As we know, the traditional hot rod scene isn't the greatest in western PA, but I think this show has the potential to turn out into a nice event.

I wasn't there last year and don't know what went on,but be careful this year--a guy told me that the local and state gastopo are planning on trying to make some money that day---sneeky bastards
used to be we would outrun them ,but now they gang up on you

Asked my buddy tonight and they said they have been doing a lot of DUI check points on Friday and Saturday evenings in Fayette County... They are down on staff and are trying to make up for traffic violations by taggin more people at checkpoints. If we are smart, I think we'll be fine...

 

Now if we only knew where the checkpoints were going to be LOL
