    They were used as oxygen tanks for the ball turret gunner on the B-17 and other planes in WWII (Yellow Tank in picture)

    Hey timheff,

    I'm not sure what all the fuss was about. Your request seemed very legitimate to me. You'll find that most HAMBers are nice guys and very willing to help. Once in a while you'll find someone who's rhubard has been rubbed the wrong way (or maybe not rubbed enough :D).

    I checked out your other work on-line. Very nice stuff!

    You may want to consider protecting it to keep you in the driver's seat a little more. :cool:
