I'm putting a DeSoto hemi in my A, but not at the point where I can take any pics yet. I was planning on building my own stainless lakes headers.

I see you have a 315 with adjustable rockers. I had one with the 4-bbl. What a nasty engine! Wish I had it today. Bill

OK you asked for it!! How's that! It's a 325 Hemi with the wrong valve covers. Looking for a set for a 325 with the dimples. Will trade these if anyone is interested.

Here is a local Austin guy's engine and headers. He doesn't do computers so I don't guess he will mind my posting a picture of his car.

It's really a 56 new yorker rear, mounted to the back of a 38 dodge truck, hood, and grille. With a 51 buick dash, mounted on a 38 ford frame. WHEW THAT'S A MOUTH FULL. John

I'm in the process of putting a 330 desoto in my A , would also like some engine placment pics. from what iv'e noticed most of the frames are modified in length . has anyone use stock length rails ? pushed back the firewall and raised the engine to clear the front crossmember? I know realestate is a premium on a A and i doesn't help i'm trying to do this with a blower.

Wow. I hate to second guess my self .i made those headers put them on the car was not sure about them and hung them on the wall .maybe I will check them out on the car one more time .thanks:rolleyes:

  30. i'm using stock A rails...if i was to strech the rails up front, my car would have to be streched to match..and that ain't happenin;).. hemi day.jpg ..which makes using a lakes style impossible also...they'ld be in my door opening....which is why i started this thread:D:D:D:D
