I've posted a few pics of my truck here and there but have'nt posted a build thread persay because some may feel it's not traditional. Still have some metal fab to do (floors, rear pan, doors, glass and some grinding). Basically what you see is how it will be. For that reason I'll just post a link to my album rather than post the pics here. With that in mind BE WARNED that it is a little rough for some people;)

It sitting on a modified 1972 Datsun truck frame. The front is stock torsion bar with relocated mounts and the rear is 4 link with transverse spring. Rides pretty nice.

It's actually a 46' cab from a 1 1/2 ton dump truck. The front sheetmetal is from a 39 Stanard coupe. The bed, tailgate and rear fenders are 39'. The front fenders are extended to "mimic" the rear fenders. The doors are suicide using 47 Plymouth hinges. It also has the dash from the 47 Plymouth. All this rides on a modified Datsun frame, power is from a tunnel rammed dual quad small block.

  9. Your truck looks great! That is the same front clip that I am looking for to put on my 38 truck.

Ton of work there! I like the way the bed was shortened and the fenders protrude out the rear. This thing grows on ya!

Looks fast just sitting there..... Looks great but I think it would look better with a different scoop or none at all. I think it just throws off the flow of the front end....

I really like that truck. I have always been a fan of angle chops.

pretty sweet. although you might want to rework the rear fenders to fit the contour of the fronts. other than that killer work.
