Here are a couple I found on the web. I would love a 57 Chevy couch.

I find it really disrespectful that someone would plant their fat sweaty ass on the flag. What is wrong with people?

They're the same people that buy paper plates and table cloths with representaions of the flag on them because they think it's the patriotic thing to do during the holidays. They're obviously also unaware of the existence of "Flag etiquette".

Anyway...I spotted some possible fodder for another one.

  16. Here are two I am building for my new office, along with the starting rough mock up of my new reception desk...the "body" of the car will be cabinetry that will mimic a woody wagon body..as per attached photoshop. I will also be building my personal desk out of the front cap of a 59 Caddy painted the same as Larry Watson's 59, although I have not started on that yet.

anywho, as I'm reading this post, I look up and it is the end of seinfield and the Kramer has a 57 chevy couch in his apartment....

kind of wierd coincidence, i'm reading the thread and I look up and see one on tv...

I have all the respect in the world for my flag and it is up in front of my house every day... I would never sit on it.

Here is one I have that my brother had built to set in front of a resturant he used to own in town, He also had an old Buick trunk mounted above the wait station inside.

Sorry, but I've always thought the "car couch" was kinda cheesy. I've always preferred the classic look of a bench seat sitting in the shop. If it's good enough to ride around on, then it's perfect to rest on the shop.

I'm too poor to afford paint and chrome and don't have any friends to share a couch with so I built a chair. :D

I'm glad you guys are diggin my shop couch! I had wanted something a little more like the pictured fiberglass ones but I just didn't have the space for it. I've got a guy that's supposed to be bringing me an old sport bumper to add on to what we've already got. If it ever shows up I'll be sure to add another photo of it.

My other shop couch is still over at my buds where we do most of the actual "work" (my shop gets used more for storage and beer drinking and shooting pool:rolleyes:). It's just an old bench seat out of a pickup with a ratty cover that you can see to the left in this picture. it's not much to look at but it makes a great place to sit when you need a break from the wrenches.
