My 47 RoadMaster I rescued with 2 of my boys this past summer. Painting her in the spring midnight blue pearl metallic! 65,000 miles on her, she's been sitting since 71 or so...

  9. I'm hosting the POB Fall Fest here in Phoenix, Az on Sat Nov 28th. It will have a car show, parts swap and drags. Calling all Buicks, all Pontiacs and all Oldsmobiles! This is your event.
I'd be nice to see some hambers there.

My wife's 55 Buick Super Kustom with 455, auto, air, pw,pb,pd, elec. wipers . Has shaved hood, trunk, door handles. Frenched antenna, headlights and 56 Chrysler New Yorker tail lights. Nova front clip, later model Buick rear clip. Here's a link to see it as we built it....http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=383609

The black 53 and tan 68 are mine the others I don't know the owners, but cool nonetheless. My cars are a work in progress, I still have plenty that I want to do to the 53. The 68 is my daily driver, a 79,000 mile original. Mine are cool, or so I believe, someday beautiful, as funds permit.

  25. Here's our 71 Skylark, my wife intercepted a tow truck driver she knew who was hauling it to the crusher and got it for a case of beer. I repaired a bit of rust, put together an interior out of Malibu, Nissan and other unknown parts, adapted a shifter from some other similar GM, painted it, dug some Olds rims out of the pile, gave it a tune-up, and took it to the strip and turned mid 14s through the mufflers and on second hand T/As. Its got the original bone stock 350 4bbl and one-legger 10 bolt rear. Total investment including case of beer and wheel alignment, less than 600 bucks.
