Not since Mrs. O'Leary's cow has Chicago been so scared.
Suedes are starting their invasion of Illinois.

Kevin Tully and Chad Hill of Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle have offered myself and Ryan positions at the shop. At first this was inconceivable. But the more we thought about it, the offer turned into something we simply could not turn down.
So now I am selling the house, packing up what I can take with me and moving in with Ryan to an as-yet-determined apartment. This really is the opportunity of a lifetime and I know I would regret not jumping at the chance. That being said, this has been THE hardest decision of my life. I'm going to miss the people of MN/ND, they have been great to me and supported my sorry ass more times than I can count.

More than anyone, leaving my parents behind is the hardest thing about it. Dad got me into this obsession and I owe him for everything. We do everything together and have a great relationship. Something I know not everyone is blessed with. Because of this relationship, they still are excited for me and know I am following a dream.

This would never have happened without the Suedes, The HAMB, MSRA, NDSRA and the Pileup. And I can't wait to be able to get my hands greasy in Illinois.

Not gonna lie. I'm excited. I'm nervous. Hell, I'm fuckin scared. These past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster.

Now I know how bob felt.

The time to do someting like this is when your young. Nothing sadder than 50-60 year old man relating how he "wished" he had done something different with his life and has stories to make the point.
Hope you make the best of this opportunity and it sounds like your mindset is right on target.

I heard there are way more babes there than in ND anyways.... I'd go in a heartbeat. Good luck and do the Suedes proud.

    THE SUEDES ARE SPREADING!

Best of luck to you guys. If you get into trouble I still have the "Chicago Typewriter" available to get you out of any jam.

You'll do great down there, and you still know where all the cool parts are hidden up north.
