I had a beautiful original Banjo for my AV8 but it was too damn big so I had to go with a 14" Schroeder. Not as pretty but way more comfortable and functional[IMG]

17" Bell Steering wheels are amongst the prettiest I have seen.

I hope to make my 17" steering wheel from an old saw blade like the old guys did. Then I will make a wood ring and brass rivet is to the steel ring. At least that's the idea.

I was just going to say that he had better have great seat belts. That wheel looks cool, but I value my face and my sternum too much to drive that.

If I had that collection, I would surely need to put a quick release on every one and use them all, changing them out like my shirts, for various occaisions!

The Wheel in my 1938 Dodge Coupe, I found in a swap meet. I believe it's from an early 50's Packard.

Thanks Bob, Yeah you are right. the Console is an early 60's Ford Falcon. I also have one in my 27 Model-T, I'll post a couple of pics of it later.

...that still needs lots of work.

And a 42-47 Lincoln wheel I'm saving for a future project.

    Wow, some nice looking wheels!

This is one of my pet peeves -- way too many cars have the wrong style wheel (too often hanging off of a GMC van tilt/tele column - ick!)
