Hey!! New girl from Tyler, TX!

Well uhmmm...I don't exactly have a car I'm working on....but my BF is currently working on his 31 Ford Coupe and he does all the wrenchin'. I'm not allowed to touch the tools (I can look at a glass of milk and it will fall over...that's just how clumsy I am), but maybe one day he'll let me lend a hand

As for now, I'll be taking all the cool pics!

If you went to the A.S.S. Benefit party Friday, we were there so you may have seen me. It was a pretty rockin' party, just sorry I didn't meet alot of people. Next time, I promise to put forth more effort to introduce myself!!!

Howdy from way up north. Not so arctic here today. Gettin' hot today.
You'll like it here. It's a pretty good place.
I'm getting ready to start on a '29 Roadster Pick-up.

 

Maine, wow...too cold for me!!

Well so far, it's been channeled, z'ed, and chopped...currently working on the floor. Still needs some bodywork done, wiring, brakes - also in the middle of working on that as well. The BF needs more tools though so we are kind of at a stand still. Main goal right now is to get it driveable...he is getting anxious, haha!

Wow... sounds like youz are get'n close! I think you'll have lots of fun when the coupe gets on the road as we did. My coupe been run'n the roads for 26 yrs now and still have'n fun....
Winters in Maine kinda long but the rest of the time is very pleasent. Lots of rain this year.. Lobsters & sea food can't be beat!

Here are a few pics of the car. This was from when we first found it. At least the engine had been partly covered with a tarp part of the time.

 

Here are a few more she took. Really just getting started. working on the floor frame, then the floor installed (except for the part above the master cylinder) and then the home made steering column and the beginings of a brake pedal assembly.

If you have the desire ,all else follows. No way you are more clumsy than me. things just go a litle more slowly for folks like us. Sooner or later you will be needed to hold a tool on the far side,or use your small hands to reach where a guy cant, with his mucho grande hands.welcome aboard.

 

Welcome aboard from Up Nort' in the Minnesota tundra. Temp up in the 80's today. I gotta feelin' the perma-frost is gonna get soft pretty soon. I like the coupe. Get acquainted with the HAMBers in Tyler, maybe they'll have some access to the tools your BF needs. -Mike
