We just picked up this '57 Jewel. need to be completely torn apart and redone. gonna rip into it this month.
1953 silver streak was gutted by the last owner but have had it redone. Not original but with two young boys hope to be having fun for a long time.
Bitten hard... FREEBIE from a buddy's boss. Was just sitting in the middle of 10 acres in north Baldwin County. Told me to take it, so I did! Needs a good bit of work but it's a great foundation. Think it's a 71'? Kid's are SUPER stoked to go camping at the beach later this summer.

Not vintage but here's my Teardrop i built a few years ago, Its a little bigger than normal at 10' long, 4' 6" wide.
Langy you did a exellent job, most home builts don't look right at least the ones if seen, yours does.
Most homebuilts look, er well homebuilt. You did a great job and got the proportions just right. Who owns the wooden tear parked beside yours. I am finishing up a 41 Ford Woodie that would look great on the other end of that ones hitch.

ours is a '64 Wolfe that weve had for 2 years and its a cool little camper. ill try an post some pics. these old campers are fun!

Well, its been 2 months exactly, so time for a big fat BTTT.. Just cuz I love these little things. We sold our 61 Scotty Silverside because at 11'8, it was just too small. And we found a 61 Yellowstone, which is 14' and nicer than the scotty was. We bought it off a 77yr old guy. And its very well preserved. And we kept our red and white striped awning, so it'll look great on the yellowstone. **Note, I already removed the goofy add-on awning track from the yellowstone and it has painted steel wheels with 55 pontiac hubcaps now. I'll have better updated pics of it in a week or so, once we're done with it.
Here's the one I just bought. Not sure why. 1966 Northwest Coach. I have been stripping the paint off for a month and am still on one side! The top was an ant colony and the floor was rotten so it's half gutted now. Plans are two tone polish/paint and to the backyard for the kids playhouse. I will have less invested in this than buying a crap wooden playhouse from Sams!
