    or maybe just get a car that can drive that far and still make it back.

    Gary Dutwieler, showed us how fast a 1938 Buick straight 8 could go with a 100 mph in 12 something, sounded like a big block, pretty awesome run!

    Most of those cars today did what most people would think they could. its nice to have a venue where these wonderful cars can still stretch their legs as the were intended...

    Yes Bob still owns it - I passed him and Marlene on the I 15 on the way up. He also has the awesome 1940 Hupp Skylark 'Military' hiboy race car.

    We got to go a few years ago, looks like it's still the best show in town, even if you don't bring a car. Looks like the Hotrods came out of the woodwork again, nice to see so many owner built projects, that's what it's all about. Thanks for posting.
